Recreation Director
to lead their Therapeutic Recreation Department, creating an engaging and supportive environment for their community.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage daily recreational activities tailored to residents' needs.
Develop personalized Therapeutic Recreation Plans and contribute to resident care planning.
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local recreation guidelines in long-term care.
Lead, schedule, and support recreation staff and volunteers, fostering interdepartmental collaboration.
Maintain detailed resident participation records and manage the department's budget.
Build relationships with community resources to expand resident involvement.
The Ideal Candidate:
At least 2 years of experience as a Therapeutic Recreation Director.
Strong knowledge of therapeutic recreation laws and healthcare standards.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
