to join the bellperson team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms ( to include cottages and villas ), 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets.Classification:

The pay rate for this role is $23-25 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.As a Guest Service Coordinator, you would be responsible for providing office support in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Handle all phone calls, verbal requests, and computer originated requests delegating these tasks to a bell person, G.E.L., Concierge or Supervisor. Ensure all necessary information is accurate, complete & legible on claim tickets, charge slips or handwritten logs.Prepare all paperwork, rooming lists and other necessary items for amenity deliveries or group porterage. Ensure all information is accurate and complete in digital software. Communicate operational or guest challenges to management. Handle meeting planner requests in an efficient & professional manner.Store & retrieve guest luggage. Give guests directions to meeting rooms/guest rooms as needed. Check and be aware of daily activities, transactions and occupancy.Participate in internal meetings as needed. Convey Resort outlet information and other hotel services.
