Job Title: Senior Business Analyst with strong Oracle experienceDuration: 1+ Year- Multi Year Contract or Contract to HireRate: $50-60/hr on W2 or $60-70/hr on C2CLocation: Downtown Houston, TX- This is a 5 day a week on-site position.The person will also do periodic travel to other EOG offices for project work, but not heavy travel. Maybe 25%, but the client pays all expenses.Senior Business Analyst that has strong Oracle experience as well as strong SQL Scripting/Writing Complex queries. The ideal candidate would also have Oil & Gas experience.The Business Analyst will help analyze design and recommend improvements to business processes and data flows. On projects or system enhancements, the BA will gather requirements, provide assistance with initial system configurations and data loading, perform testing, design reports and provide support for end users.REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Intermediate to Expert level of experience successfully providing business analysis services in a corporate setting.Full life cycle project development experience in a BA role.Experience supporting technology solutions, including change management, application testing, data integrity management and end-user support and training.Experience designing or changing business processes to gain full value from technology solutions.Experience with and understanding of relational databases and database concepts.Experience working in an Oracle environment (PL/SQL or TOAD experience a plus but NOT necessary).SQL skills highly preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High degree of intelligence and problem-solving skills.Experience in designing, testing and rolling out custom (and packaged) solutions.REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Ability to quickly understand business functions.Business process analysis and design.Skill in managing internal customer expectations.Proficient gathering and documenting business requirements.Ability to uncover hidden requirements.Skillful management of priorities.Management of the application change request and enhancement process.Relationship management.Ability to work with technical resources to effect change or correct problems in applications.JOB DUTIES
Work with internal customers to create software solutions for Environmental applications.Assist with Emissions and Environmental internal and external reporting.Work with business partners to design and sustain optimal business processes.Gather business requirements and ensure they are met.Oversee and ensure integrity of all technical solutions.Provide assistance to business to design and execute new functions and modifications.Coordinate change management for the assigned solutions.Provide testing as needed prior to customer use or acceptance testing.Frequent interaction with all IS functions, and a high-level of interaction with the business units who use or are dependent upon the assigned systems.Work with all levels of the organization.EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
