Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Logistics Damage & Theft Prevention Analyst is responsible to identify and analyze damage and theft trends throughout the logistics network in Mexico and the United States. The Logistics Damage & Theft Prevention Analyst will collaborate with rail, warehouse, truck, and future vessel/port logistics services providers in identifying the root cause of damage & theft and pursue corrective actions. This position is also responsible for the completion of monthly damage & theft metrics and scorecards.As the primary lead for Theft Prevention, the position will be responsible for identifying industry standards and best practices to prevent theft. Additionally, the position will be responsible for conducting security assessments throughout the logistics network and provide recommendations to logistics service providers.This role reports to the Senior Manager of Damage & Theft Prevention.ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary interface between CBI’s logistics service providers and internal cross-functional Supply Chain teams as it relates to damage & theft prevention initiatives across CBI’s network.Evaluate and monitor performance of logistics service providers to ensure performance meets and/or exceeds CBI’s operational as well as strategic goals.Responsible for all damage prevention initiatives for rail, truck, and future vessel/port shipments.Responsible for the completion of monthly damage & theft metrics and scorecards.Lead weekly/monthly calls with logistics service providers to review metrics, scorecards, open issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.Collaborate with brewery and logistics service providers regarding potential transport changes – loading, load patterns, packaging, protection improvements, etc.Primary Theft Prevention lead throughout the logistics network in Mexico and the United States.Responsible for the collection of all theft data and ensure accurate reporting is provided from logistics service providers.Track, analyze, and report all thefts to key stakeholders utilizing data captured via the Theft Notification Form and Power BI Dashboard.Regular communication with CBI security team on issues related to theft and security.Investigate and perform trials utilizing industry standard and best practice tools and equipment to prevent theft.Perform quality and security audits at locations throughout the logistics network and provide recommendations on industry standards and best practices.Assist the Claims team in pursuing recovery of aged claims with logistics service providers.Oversee the development of rail infrastructure preventative maintenance program. Develop audit schedules to ensure rail equipped locations are completing required preventative maintenance and identifying potential operational/safety risks where CAPEX funding may be required.Create and publish Quality bulletins to logistics service providers.Primary lead within the Damage & Theft Prevention team to collect, consolidate, and finalize all metrics and scorecard data to be presented to senior leadership.Collaborate with finance regarding costs related to damage and theft.Execute required queries in SAP for reporting purposes.Support traceability exercises and provide reporting.Provide input and complete updates to the CBI Warehouse Procedure Manual.Primary lead for the implementation of Electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) and future projects related to systems, software, etc.Track and report logistic service provider ePOD submissions for accuracy and timeliness.Plan, support, and assist with special projects.Perform additional ad-hoc tasks when assigned.Complete in-team cross training.Must be willing to work outside regular business hours when necessary to support peak season and when critical issues arise (i.e., evenings, weekends, holidays).Minimum QualificationsA bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years’ experience in transportation or a related field is required.Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft applications is required. PowerBI experience is desirable.Must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.Requires excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization.Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with both internal and external customers.Must be able to make decisions independently and recommend viable solutions to problems and issues.Must have the ability to handle a heavy workload and be able to work under pressure while handling frequent changes in direction, without losing focus.Must be willing and able to learn and acquire new skills and abilities.Physical Requirements/Work EnvironmentMust be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
