We are looking for an outstanding Local Advertising Program Lead to join our Digital Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy and execution of our local digital advertising and local listing programs with the ultimate goal of empowering advisors to grow their practice through sophisticated and efficient digital practices. You will be responsible for running the local digital advertising program to the field and advancing our current local listing program.
As part of our fast-paced, growing marketing organization, our ideal candidate will be energetic, a self-starter, and possess a detailed focus that will support the marketing organization. This person will partner with many cross-functional teams and manage the relationship for local advertising and listing vendors to drive digital advertising best practices, drive advisor adoption, and advance our capabilities for efficient and effective local advertising and listing efforts.
Responsibilities
Grow and maintain a newly revamped local advertising program and grow our current local listing program.Managing all local advertising and local listing development and enhancement projects, within established timeframes and budgets, ensuring appropriate change management practices and communications.Guiding program direction based on the regular analysis of metrics, results, and trends.Leading the ongoing development and maintenance of program content libraries in partnership with teams across the organization.Providing support to the Field Marketing Team in working with Chairman’s and President’s Council Financial Advisors and Field Management to provide strategic and/or complex guidance regarding local advertising development, maintenance, promotion, and best practices.Collaborating with partners across Marketing and Business Technology teams in supporting the firm’s digital marketing ecosystem.Leading program growth strategies, including:Encouraging program evangelism across the organization,Communicating and rewarding program successes,Conducting webinars and group training sessions on program best practices.Serving as the primary vendor relationship manager with all vendors serving the local advertising and local listing programs to ensure continued progress, ongoing support, and platform stability based on our service agreements.Leading program governance, including policy and procedure management and ensuring appropriate approval and retention of all program content and documentation within firm and regulatory requirements.Staying informed about industry and digital marketing trends and best practices in order to serve as an engaged and contributing leader in the Digital Marketing Channels team.Skills RequiredBasic Qualifications: (Legal Requirement)Four-year degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.Minimum of seven years digital marketing experience, with a focus on digital advertising.Demonstrated experience developing digital marketing strategies and programs across an enterprise.Experience working directly with financial advisors and an organization’s sales force.Proven dedication to and focus on client service and satisfaction.Exceptional project management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to direct, motivate and persuade clients; including proven presentation development and delivery skills.Excellent writing and editing skills.Self-starter who is able to make decisions independently.Third-party vendor and agency relationship management.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and content management tools. Ability to learn new systems quickly and independently.Preferred Qualifications:MBA or equivalent experience.Seven years of marketing financial services, including retail and business to business distribution systems.Experience in digital marketing including SEO, SEM, and paid digital advertising.Experience in digital platforms and tools including Yext, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Workfront, and Seismic.Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Google Data Studio.Sprinklr, Facebook (ad manager).In-depth knowledge of financial products and services with demonstrated experience leading large projects and/or strategic marketing initiatives.Advertising Program LeadMinneapolis, MNFinancial Services
