In this leadership role, you will play a critical part in driving our mission forward by overseeing the expansion of the facility, the research & development of new products, and the retention of our amazing team. We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who can foster a positive and productive work environment – ensuring all employees are engaged & motivated. The ideal candidate will excel in managing people, leading with vision, and holding themselves to the highest level of accountability. Cross functional partners will include retail, wholesale, compliance, human resources, cultivation, and processing team members.Responsibilities:Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP):

Be the voice of the operations team inside the company’s end-to-end planning process, championing a culture of data-driven decision making and cross functional synergy.Profit & Loss Management:

Ownership over the facility P&L, including developing an annual budget proposal and participating in quarterly reforecast processes.Employee Retention:

Develop and implement strategies to retain top talent, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure employees are growing in their careers.Research & Development:

Encourage a state of constant innovation, leading efforts in product development + operational efficiency initiatives.Cultivation & Processing:

Oversee the full supply chain of the facility, including cultivation, post-harvest processing, packaging, extraction, kitchen & distribution + lead process improvement efforts to enhance throughput while maintaining high quality standards.Compliance:

Follow all state & federal regulations, protecting the reputation of our brands for excellence & reliability in the state of Florida, while being a student of compliance and recognizing the constantly changing legal framework.Talent Acquisition:

Create target profiles for each position you manage – utilizing your network to find the best talent to drive forward thinking, innovation, and making our business a preferred destination for the best in the cannabis industry.Technology Integration:

Leverage technology & analytics to drive operational efficiencies, improve insights, and support decision-making.Facility Management:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Lake Wales, FL facility, minimizing downtime by developing a best-in-class maintenance program + promote workplace health & safety practices.Revenue Driving:

Prepare the facility for the potential launch of adult-use products in the FL market by partnering with our retail & planning teams to create the optimal assortment architecture for our patients/customers that is determined by the retail strategy.How we will measure success:Objective: Foster a positive work environment that maximizes employee retention & satisfaction.KR1: Conduct quarterly employee satisfaction surveys and increase satisfaction scores by +15% over initial 12-month time frame.KR2: Implement a feedback loop within Lake Wales, FL facility that captures on-the-ground intelligence and turns into actionable items.KR3: Improve employee retention by +25% over initial 12-month time-frame.Objective: Improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.KR1: Build trimmed flower to 1-month supply to drive retail sales (packaging 35,000 units per week).KR2: Leverage data-driven insights to improve our COGS and product development opportunities.KR3: Increase flower yield by +10% without sacrificing terpene & potency profiles while keeping a minimum of 30 strains in production to deliver assortment architecture (and avoiding over-production of a single strain).Objective: Lead innovation efforts to improve product offerings & operational methods.KR1: Understand the assortment architecture and launch 4 new products developed through R&D by 2Q2025.KR2: Collaborate with iAnthus medical advisory board to create product roadmap that addresses medicinal patient needs by 4Q2024.KR3: Partner with the retail team to use your network to enhance our FL real estate process and new store opening process with product education pop-ups.Qualifications:Cannabis regulations require that employees be at least 21 years of age and maintain cannabis work credential.Bachelor’s Degree in related field.Minimum 3 years managing a cannabis operations facility and teams over 100 people.Knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory systems, supply chain management, logistics, customer service, reporting systems, warehouse functions and systems.Experience working with multi-state operators (MSO’s) in the cannabis industry.Excellent written and verbal communications skills + professional demeanor & strong work ethic.Able to maintain confidentiality; work collaboratively in a team environment.Able to lead and serve as a strategic member of the FL leadership team.
