Showcase your leadership strengths in maintaining the smooth operation of the Stewarding Department. You will maximize labor efficiency, maintain costs, guarantee safe working conditions, and keep the highest standards of sanitation!What is in it for you:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideLearning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference in the local community through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21Extensive Benefit PackageWhat you will be doing:Ensure the smooth operation of the Stewarding Department, maintaining established standards for a clean and organized heart of house areaWork with Culinary and Food & Beverage Department Heads to build a culture that is driven by pride, care, ownership, and passion for impeccable presentation and maintenance of equipmentWork closely with Banquets to ensure that all function equipment needs are on hand and in good working conditionLead a preventative maintenance program by identifying and reducing high breakage/loss items through colleague awareness and ownershipMaximize on cost control opportunities through optimal scheduling and maintenance of equipmentMotivate, lead, coach, and monitor the performance of stewarding team membersEnsure the delivery of excellent service by maintaining high staff morale and team spiritActively promote a safe and hazard-free work environment which includes ensuring proper food handling procedures, cleaning and storage of food containers, use of cleaning chemicals and PPE, and the timely maintenance of dishwashing equipment in all kitchens
Your experience and skills include:Service focused personality is essential and previous Stewarding leadership experience requiredProven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholdersCommunicate thoughts, actions, and opportunities clearly with strong networking skillsHighly motivated and guest-driven with the ability to solve problems and to make timely guest service decisionsComputer literate in Microsoft and Windows applicationsProactive with a demonstrated eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple functions/projects while meeting deadlinesStrong working knowledge of Hazardous Communication, Sanitation, and Food Safety regulations and guidelinesAbility to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, holiday and nights.
