Full-time Branch Manager
to join our team in our
Hartford , WI location.
As a Branch Manager, you will be a trusted advisor within the communities we serve. You will lead a team of retail associates in effectively identifying the financial needs of our customers while always ensuring a high level of customer service. As a leader within your community, you will actively participate in organizations and activities that provide visibility and promote Forte Bank.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES IN BRANCH:
Oversee daily operations and supervision of the branch team including adherence to government regulations, the bank's policies and procedures, and ethical business practices.
Lead the branch to achieve established sales goals by generating referral business, new accounts, management of current clients' accounts, and identifying opportunities to enhance our relationships with our clients.
Increase market share by building long-term relationships with local businesses.
Promote the bank's various banking products including retail and business deposit, loan, and investment services.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, security requirements, government regulations, and ethical business practices.
Coach, mentor, and motivate a team of dedicated banking professionals.
Recruit, hire, and develop branch staff. Foster a team environment by selecting and hiring quality members who are collaborative, results-driven, and possess strong sales and service aptitudes.
Maintain safety and security for our clients and team members.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the bank's products and services.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service through regular contact with clients.
Evaluate service quality and initiate corrective action as necessary.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain a network in the community to enhance the Bank's visibility and build a strong referral source for new potential business.
Maintain a high-touch relationship with key branch customers and prospects within the market.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five years of banking experience, at least 3 years in an Assistant or Branch Manager role.
Minimum of two years of leadership and management experience.
Proven skills in coaching and managing staff to high levels of client service.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft software.
Thorough understanding of the use and application of required banking software.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Considerable knowledge of retail and business banking.
Knowledge of bank compliance and security procedures.
Proven client service and interpersonal skills.
Effective selling, cross-selling, and referral skills.
High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
A professional, proactive, and strategic approach to work.
Uphold the ethics of the bank outlined in the code of conduct.
Detail-oriented.
Exhibit a positive, customer-focused approach to serving customers.
Work as a member of the team, seeking to understand other departments, the solutions they offer, and the relationship to servicing customers.
