In this role, you’ll work in close collaboration with Ogilvy’s strategy, influencer, PR, and creative teams, some of the best social and content experts in the industry. They can collaborate closely with Copywriters, Designers, and Strategists to ensure ideas are well-rounded and developed from concept to execution with the brief in mind. They know internet trends and pop culture references and can weave that into their work when relevant. They also understand the nuances of each social platform and can create content optimized for each.Being confident and persuasive in presenting and selling concepts to internal teams, senior company leaders, and clients is a must. This is a position for a seasoned, driven, results-oriented, and highly creative individual who can work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage deadlines, and produce highly effective creative.This is a special role that will be embedded in a cohesive team with the social first talent from an array of agencies within a client team.RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborates with the team to develop and present creative concepts for clients and new business to help build brands on SocialAttends and can capture content at photoshoots and eventsWorks closely with Art Directors and Designers to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual direction, style, and brand guidelinesWrites, shoots, edits, and produces content owned across multiple channelsMust be able to understand business objectives and audience demographics to land the messaging successfullyResponsible for translating creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective conceptsProof-reads and vets copy to ensure consistency in tone, grammar, and messaging before assets are handed over to be publishedStays abreast with global cultural trends and industry updates, and proactively develops timely ideas for relevantIdeates individually and collaboratively on innovative content ideas designed to meet long-term goals for both social media engagement and overall audience growthIdentifies user and community-generated content that should be reposted, gain permissions, and re-edit audio tracks as neededQUALIFICATIONSMinimum 5 years of relevant art direction, design, and content creation experience in the social spaceStrategic and conceptual thinkingAbility to lead scrappy content creationPassion for learning and self-improvementProactive and a self-starterPositive attitude and ability to work under tight deadlinesAdaptable and able to handle changes in briefs, priorities, and editsTrue passion for food & beverage verticalAt Ogilvy, our people are at the heart of what we do: a creative agency that sparks game-changing ideas across culture and business through collaboration, integrity, and a celebration of self-expression.We believe in building powerful teams with purpose.
