Refer qualified colleague, friends, or family.***** Candidates must have Commercial Real Estate and Title and Survey experience*****As a Paralegal, under the supervision of attorneys, you will perform a range of substantive case, matter, or entity-related duties. Youll prepare drafts of legal and other documents and correspondence for attorney review. You will compile, analyze, and summarize information. You will also coordinate efforts between attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal counsel, other parties, and outside vendors.

ResponsibilitiesAssists with due diligence required for real estate transactions.Orders, reviews and analyzes title commitments, recorded documents and surveys.Develops, monitors and updates closing checklists for reach estate transactions.Prepares requires documents and coordinates execution and delivery of documentation to other parties counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, vendors, etc.Assists with preparation of tax related application and works with clients to obtain required documentation.Prepares petitions for tax consolidates and/or divisions.Reviews and abstracts leases.Manages data rooms and matter files.

Desired SkillsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills required to interact with staff, paralegals, attorneys and clients on a daily basis.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required to handle large volumes of work associates with each matter.Responsibilities will include assisting attorneys in your home office and in office across the firm.Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma or GEDMust meet the California Paralegal Requirements.

Preferred EducationDegree and/or a Paralegal certificate.Minimum Years of Experience1 year experience as a Litigation Paralegal for individuals with a bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate. Individuals without a degree or certification requires five years' legal support experience in the specific practice area.Must have strong skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.Experience with legal software such as Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw or similar application required.
