About the Role
The C-Suite Account Executive will have the opportunity to introduce The Wall Street Journal C-Suite membership portfolio to the world's most influential business leaders, communicating directly with them and their teams.
The Account Executive will also work closely with key internal stakeholders to help drive and convey the remarkable value membership to the WSJ C-Suite councils provide.
The Account Executive will build a pipeline through successful outbound calls, email communications and meetings. The primary audience is corporate communications, marketing and offices of C-level executives. Through calls and meetings, the Account Executive will gain a valuable understanding of the C-Suite objectives, this will enable them to position C-Suite memberships' as a critical tool to support them in the advancement of their role.
Additionally, the Account Executive will build consensus among external and internal groups to promote the C-Suite Memberships. The Account Executive will be responsible for providing feedback regularly and participating in special projects where needed. This includes gathering intelligence about their market and suggesting custom strategies, communicating actions and sharing best practices with the team.
You Have:3+ years of experience in new business. Experience selling to C-level prospects and conferences/memberships is a plus.College degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, or a business discipline.An understanding of how to work with different people and different working styles across the organization and inside member companies.Experience prioritizing sales opportunities based on deadlines.Experience working collaboratively and in a congenial, professional mannerOur Benefits
