Job Description : Managing Splunk applications and hardware: Installing, configuring, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Splunk applications and hardware Designing and implementing solutions: Designing and implementing solutions to business problems Monitoring Splunk infrastructure: Monitoring the Splunk infrastructure, including search heads, indexers, deployers, cluster masters, forwarders, and syslog servers Creating reports and dashboards: Creating and updating reports and dashboards based on enterprise customer requirements or internal team needs Troubleshooting issues: Troubleshooting issues with log feeds, search time, and field extractions Maintaining Splunk knowledgebase: Maintaining the Splunk knowledgebase by updating existing and creating new KB articles Managing user authentication: Managing user authentication within Splunk, including Role and Attribute Based Access Controls (RBAC/ABAC) Integrating resources: Integrating resources across teams Collaborating with teams: Collaborating with and mentoring the compliance, engineering, and operations teams
Competencies: Digital : Splunk, Database Administration (DBMS)
Experience (Years): 6-8
Essential Skills: Splunk Admin, with knowledge in Alert Setup, Integration with MoogSoft, DB knowledge, Snowflake knowledge is added advantage. Should be good with Queries, SQL , Regex Commands.Proficiency with operating systems and networksCloud computing skillsFamiliarity with hardware and databasesSecurity protocolsBasic scripting and codingExperience with Linux and Windows agents for Splunk administrationExpert level understanding and usage of SPL, Regex, and other development tools
