Job Overview:
The Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies to promote
healthcare services and increase patient acquisition. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare
marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving Jordan Valley Community Health
Center business growth.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to support the overall goals of JVCHC. Coordinates with operations to prioritize, propose, and create marketing communications plans for specific programs and service lines identified. Strengthen and maintain JVCHC's brand identity across all marketing channels. Works with the creative team to review, edit, and align creative with brand standards. Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to attract new patients and increase market share. Coordinates and assists with content creation for all campaign assets including social media, print, signage, and more. Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Oversees company use of any contracted advertising and public relations. Initiates, develops, and maintains local and state media and public contacts for disseminating program information. Researches and writes news releases. Identifies potential public relations problems and advises program leadership and agency officials of appropriate preventative actions. Oversees project implementation. Directs the production of printed publications and audio-visual productions including development of design, layout and text for informational materials such as newsletters, bulletins, pamphlets, directories and audio-visual productions. Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames. Assists coordinating ceremonies, press conferences, and other events or special projects. Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure ROI and identify areas for improvement. Compiles and analyzes campaign data. Coordinates reporting with program leadership. Maintains administration of relevant reporting and planning systems. Makes strategic recommendations based on user data to inform campaign improvements. Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives. Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, with a preference for experience in the healthcare or advertising/marketing agency industry. Strong writing, graphic design, videography, and relations skills. Knowledge:
Communications and Media - Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media. English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Market Research - Understanding of market research reporting, with the ability to integrate data-based community insights and weave them into creative strategy. Skills:
Adaptable - Superior communication, organizational, and time management skills with a proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively. Proven experience managing a creative team and delivering innovative content across multiple platforms (digital, print, video,). Ability to manage and meet creative deadlines. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, digital design tools, content management systems, and automated marketing software. Experience utilizing project management tools to manage creative projects and processes. Strong writing, graphic design, videography, copywriting, and relations skills. Strong understanding of branding, visual identity, and storytelling. Experience working with culturally diverse teams and target audiences. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and defend creative ideas to executive leadership. Ability to present creative ideas to key stakeholders in a clear, comprehensive, and compelling way. Knowledge of marketing trends and engagement strategies. Develop and manage creative budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing and design. Ensure that all creative assets meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. Ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail and hands-on project management.
