Role Description
The Construction Manager will oversee and manage the construction of industrial and factory buildings, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively from initiation through completion. This role requires extensive experience in industrial construction, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of factory and industrial building design principles.
This opportunity is based out of Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV. Relocation assistance is available.
What you'll do:
Project Oversight: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of factory and industrial building construction projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications and project goals. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of construction professionals, including site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Schedule and Budget Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, manage budgets, and control costs to ensure projects are completed on time and within financial constraints. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all construction activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards. Promote a culture of safety on all job sites. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues, and ensure project requirements are met. Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance processes, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Problem Solving: Identify and address project challenges and obstacles promptly, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track. Innovation: Implement best practices and innovative construction techniques to enhance project efficiency, sustainability, and overall performance. What you'll bring:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in construction management with a strong focus on factory and industrial building design. Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, industrial building design principles, project management software, and construction safety standards. Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders. Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and guide construction teams.
