Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to help patients improve their physical function and mobility following injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. The ideal candidate will assess, plan, and deliver personalized rehabilitation programs to support patient recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs through medical history reviews, physical examinations, and specialized assessments.Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient-specific goals and medical conditions, addressing their rehabilitation needs.Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize techniques such as exercises, manual therapy, therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation), and specialized equipment to improve mobility and function.Exercise Prescription: Design customized exercise programs to enhance strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and coordination, while educating patients on proper techniques.Manual Therapy: Perform joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, and manipulation to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.Assistive Devices: Recommend and assist patients with mobility aids such as crutches, canes, walkers, and orthotic devices.Patient Education: Educate patients on their condition, the rehabilitation process, and injury prevention strategies, promoting long-term health and wellness.Pain Management: Implement pain management techniques, including heat/cold therapy, electrical stimulation, and muscle relaxation methods.Injury Prevention: Provide guidance on injury prevention exercises and techniques, especially for athletes and individuals at high risk for injuries.Progress Monitoring: Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports for comprehensive care and compliance with insurance and legal standards.Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to deliver a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.Research and Continuing Education: Stay current with advancements in physical therapy through research and continuing education to provide evidence-based treatments.Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing insurance claims, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
