Job Description SummaryRAISE Center coordinator/assistant will help the functioning of the center's research activities and day-to-day administration. This is a part-time role (27 hours per week). The position will be primarily hybrid during the semesters and even more flexible over the summers. RAISE is our Center for Research on Abroad and International Student Engagement.

Job Description

Essential Functions:Provide administrative support to the RAISE Center staff, Graduate Research Assistants, and Acting Director.Support Acting Director with marketing, branding, and visibility of the RAISE Center and its projects, missions, and initiatives.Support Acting Director with RAISE Center communications.

Website updatesNewsletter content and layoutSocial Media (Twitter)Communications with WFU CER

Coordinate research meetings and action critical items (e.g., scheduling systems for participant interviews, note taking).Oversee administration of AREA Database and International Student Database, working in collaboration with the Acting Director and research assistants.Support Acting Director and Research Team with project updates and changes with the Institutional Review Board, CAYUSE, and other grant applications.Manage RAISE Center email account.Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Associate degree with relevant experience.Experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.Professional writing ability with a strong attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.Ability to set priorities and work independently.Experience collaborating with people from different backgrounds and cultures.Adept at problem solving and creative solution generation.Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in research support.Experience conducting/supporting research projects in educational settings.Experience with data management and organization.Social media and newsletter marketing, branding, and communication.Adobe creative suite/CANVA experience.Experience with managing Wordpress sites.Experience living, working, or studying abroad.Accountabilities:
