The City of Aurora is looking for a Business Analyst. Their role is to gather requirements from the business and provide documents to the developers. The role will support the software development process by helping in the decision-making process, ensuring business solutions are understood, and project deliverables are met according to the determined specifications. Has strong customer service and communication verbal and written skills.
Qualification: Acts as an interface between the customer and developers Establish an approach for testing Leads meetings with Given Departments/Divisions Gathering User requirements Document Process (workflows) models and business flow diagrams that describe the current state and requested state to provide direction to the project team. Quality assurance on issue tickets and delivering them SME End-to-End testing (this includes integrations) This needs Coordinate and in-depth to verify the product represents the needs of customers May help with training or orientation for modifications or new processes Account the able for create and maintenance of date for UAT and training Work with developers to implement software
Experience: Education: Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 2 years of experience; preferably experience in working with multiple departments/divisions Microsoft office tools including Visio, Excel, word, and PowerPoint Engagement Length: 12 months Working Hours: Maximum of 40 hours a week 8am-5pm Mountain standard time Monday - Friday Work Location: Development Services department -Hybrid
