Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst (Channel Manager) will continuously evaluate the client's supply chain flows, making recommendations for improvement based on data analysis and interactions with client and internal Armada stakeholders. This position will be a member of the account-facing team responsible for interfacing with the client on a variety of issues.
This is a hybrid role located in the Atlanta, GA area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with client purchasing and supply management teams on opportunities to optimize transportation and distributionSupport product category bids through landed-cost optimization analysisDevelop pricing and minimum order parameters on freight lanes to ensure cost/revenue alignmentCoordinate communication of execution plans and changes across multiple internal and external teamsGenerate reports of business activity to distribute to client and internal teamsUtilize Armada's 24TRACC technology platform to execute supply chain business processesEnsure the health of the client's freight variance account by collaborating with Finance and Transportation Operations and performing root-cause analysis; work with appropriate parties to remedy adverse financial resultsEnsure data synchronization between client's catalog, distribution partners and internal planning and operations teamsBuild and Maintain Internal and Client RelationshipsConsistently communicate and demonstrate the value of our partnership with the clientQUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience Requirement
Minimum:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent business experience.3-5 years experience in Transportation, Warehousing, and Inventory Management3-5 years experience with data analysisPreferred:
Experience developing and/or utilizing logistics-related modeling toolsExperience with data visualization tools such as Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, Qlikview is a plusLanguage and Technical Skills requirement
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) with internal/external clientsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access. Knowledge in SQL and ability to program Macros (VBA) is a plus.Ability to aggregate, manipulate, and automate dataData-driven, fact-based, detail-oriented approach to analysis and problem solvingStrong Project Management skills and ability to work independently within a team environmentPhysical Demands and Work Environment
