Summary:
Maintains, organizes and administers the overall program of interscholastic athletics.
Position duties may include:Help monitor activities such as band, choir, speech & debate as well as academic teamScheduling/contest confirmationGame/Event ManagementFinalize bus transportation for athletic teams as well as schedule equipment vans (if necessary)Organize and monitor facility scheduling for gyms and athletic fieldsAssist with facility upkeep that includes tech support of scoreboards/controllers as well as sound equipment at our various venuesUnderstanding of the MSHSAA by-laws and websiteAttend Conference meetings and State association meetingsProvide schedules to official assignors for the respective sports or the hiring of officialsVerify that products for concession stands are ordered and delivered in a timely fashionVerify that contest workers are hired for all home games and eventsUnderstanding the Athletic budget and SISFINRequirements:
Master's degree in Education Administration or Athletic AdministrationMinimum of 5 years teaching and/or administrative experienceCourses in organization and administration of athletic programsValid Teaching Certification
