An established, independent insurance agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to support its growing portfolio, primarily within the cannabis sector. This role involves managing a book of E&S business accounts, working alongside a dedicated producer to support both new and renewal clients. The company offers a collaborative work environment with employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits, as well as a hybrid work option within Oregon and Washington after a 90-day in-office training period.
Responsibilities
Partner with producers to deliver exceptional service to new and renewal clients, focusing on retention and strategic growth.Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and MGAs to negotiate quotes, secure endorsements, and manage other policy documentation.Cross-sell additional products to clients and prospects, enhancing service and value.Gather necessary information and documentation from clients, ensuring accurate and timely account management.Negotiate coverage options for new and renewal clients, meeting their unique needs and budget requirements.Respond to client and carrier inquiries, fostering client satisfaction through proactive communication.Qualifications
3+ years of recent commercial lines account management experience within an independent agency (not captive agencies, carriers, or direct writers).Active insurance licenses in Oregon and Washington.Proficiency with Applied Epic software is preferred.
