Join our dynamic team and be a part the solution!N4 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to support The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Consolidation Applications and Platforms (NCAPS) team. Through support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:Apply expert knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignmentsSupport enterprise Cybersecurity standardsIn coordination with Government develop and implement Cybersecurity standards and proceduresCoordinate, develop, and recommend security processes for an organization.Recommend Cybersecurity solutions to support customers' requirementsIdentify and report security violationsRecommend and satisfy Cybersecurity requirements based upon the analysis of CSPP, policy, regulatory, and resource demandsSupport customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of processes and policiesApply know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and proceduresSupports design and development of security features for system architecture requirementsAnalyze and makes recommendations of security requirements for computer systems which may include mainframes, workstations, and personal computersSupport design, development, engineering, and implementation of solutions that meet CSPP requirementsProvide integration and implementation of the computer system security solutionAnalyze general Cybersecurity-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problemsSupports vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cyclePerform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems data assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access, theft, or destructionEnsure that all information systems are functional and secureEnsure cyber monitoring is performed timely and cyber responses occur within established processes/proceduresEnsure team supports critical processes outside of normal hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.Lead rapid response to quickly resolve cyber eventsCommunicate with senior customer stakeholders on reporting metrics (e.g., # of events, average time to respond, affected applications or platforms, etc.)Lead preparation and distribution of cyber/IA required reporting
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 10 + years related specialized experiencePrior experience leading cyber and IA security activities on a large, complex programFamiliar with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signaturesUnderstanding of firewall theory and configurationOne or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC.Experience with ITIL frameworksMust have 10+ years related technical experienceU.S. Citizenship
