Your role:
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors and staff. It is the Maintenance Supervisor's duty to anticipate, identify and correct any and all problems involving the property and to implement procedures that will prevent such problems. An effective program of maintenance is essential in order to maintain a safe environment, cultivate resident satisfaction, and protect the investment of the apartment property owner.What you will do:Performs all maintenance tasks for units and equipmentOversees entire Maintenance TeamManages work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely mannerConfirms apartments are updated and move-in readyPerforms all mechanical walks for constructionMonitors inventory and orders supplies as neededSchedules vendors and contractors and works side-by-side with construction to address any issuesUses expert knowledge to abide by pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materialsInspects the condition of physical properties throughout the community and corrects unsafe conditionsWhat you will bring:Two or more years of maintenance experience in multi-family property management strongly preferredEPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification requiredEffective verbal and written communication skills via all communication channelsAbility to lift equipment and appliances up to 50 lbsMust be able to take calls for emergency requestsMust have a valid driver's license and daily transportation for getting supplies and other dutiesWill drive a golf cartWork over 40 hours per week as business needs deem appropriate#CO
