Executive Assistant to the President

Position Summary: UMGC Ventures is recruiting an experienced and energetic Executive Assistant to work in our Adelphi office (hybrid). The Executive Assistant will work directly with the Portfolio President/Interim CEO (President) and other C-Suite executives and will be accountable for performing a variety of administrative responsibilities. The ideal applicant is self-directed, tech-savvy enjoys working in a diverse environment, and is capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES OVERALL (Include, but not limited to):
Provide executive-level administrative support including scheduling of internal and external meetings, conferences both face-to-face and teleconferences for both internal and external matters.Coordinate and collaborate with the board of directors, executive team, staff, clients, partners, and customers requiring a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretionDraft and manage correspondence and communications on behalf of the President and executive teamPrepare presentations for C-level meetings including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, charts, graphs, and graphics as requestedCoordinate travel arrangements to include making reservations for transportation, lodging, etc., and preparing trip itineraries and materialsExpense reporting and tracking on behalf of the PresidentPlan and execute events, meetings on and off-site, and other special functions hosted by the President or executive teamMaintain all aspects of the President's calendar using Microsoft Office 365/Outlook CalendarPerform other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Seven (7) years of work experience as an Executive Assistant supporting VP and C-Suite management.Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Ability to work comfortably under pressure and prioritize multiple work responsibilities.Excellent written and verbal communications skills including writing memos and letters.Laser-sharp attention to detail and accuracy.Working with a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and judgment.Anticipates problems ahead of time and takes a proactive approach toward solving issues.Receive and interact with incoming visitors and customersPositive attitude and helpful demeanor
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job operates in a professional onsite office environment. Ability to work varying hours on Monday through Friday as requested or required based on business needs. Ability to work additional hours as project and job demands arise (including evenings and weekends as necessary). Occasionally required to move 5 - 40 pounds.
Reliable transportation is required. Some travel outside of the local metro area may be required, up to 10% of the time.
