General Manager , you will provide leadership and direction to the entire dealership team to deliver hospitality, innovation, and efficiency for our guests. You will directly impact whether we become our guest's favorite place to purchase, lease, or service their vehicle.
What Winning Looks Like:
Communicating clearly with our guests across multiple channels (phone and email) and being responsive to their needs.Directing and monitoring recruiting and hiring for all positions; ensure performance reviews and coaching sessions are completed as scheduled; develop short- and long-term goals for all dealership management or supervisory personnelDevelops merchandising strategies and assist in creating effective, cost-efficient advertising programs.Coach management team to improve performance and dealership operation on best practicesTrack progress, and lead the team to achieve and exceed their goalsForecast sales for upcoming months and quartersParticipate in the development and execution of compensation plans; all changes to plans and/or promotions must be approved by the Platform Manager and HR DepartmentManage a CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective salesMaintain a keen focus on the satisfaction of all employees and customersOversee all activities occurring in the vehicle showroomSkills Needed to Win:
Demonstrates a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.Excellent leadership skills with a passion for developing employees.Ability to effectively manage time and to meet and exceed targets.5+ years of experience as a General Sales Manager or 3+ years as a General Manager at a franchise dealership.Complete understanding of how to desk subprime and prime car deals.Solid sales competencies with knowledge of strategies and best practices.Must have strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to read and understand manufacture statements, F&I statements, and financial statements.Keen attention to detail with a commitment to solving complex problems.Strong written and verbal communication skillsOutgoing, and positive attitude.Knowledge of inventory control and managementBenefits of Working at Swickard:
