The Project Accountant (PA) is a critical role model, a proven problem solver, and an effective leader. He or she is a skilled, experienced, and empowered leader that our project teams look to for guidance. The PA is aware, available, and engaged in the business interests of Pavilion Construction and understands that the Pavilion brand is dependent upon the quality and ongoing development of the personnel in all regions. Member of the Accounting/Operations team that will manage and prepare all project accounting and construction administration for project, including project billings, costs, WIP reports and Certified Payroll.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following but other duties may be assigned.
Preparation and submittal of Pavilion Construction monthly project pay applications and various accompanying reports as required. Experience with Guaranteed Maximum Price billingsUnderstand terms in Pavilion Construction contracts and Subcontractor contracts and apply across all jobMonthly preparation of assigned Project Work in Progress (WIP)reports and review/discuss with Project Manager.Collection and review of subcontractor progress billings to ensure accuracy andCollection and review of subcontractor sub-tierAdminister, collect, and audit project certified payroll and Section 3 reports corresponding with sub tier contractors and program administrators.Work with Project Managers to ensure funding is received timely in order to payReview and approve payables weekly forCommunicate with project personnel and external vendors for Pavilion Construction project related questions and requests.Special projects asSupervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:
3+ years of experience in construction project accounting or Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or Construction ManagementProficient knowledge of the computer, including Excel, Adobe and MicrosoftPrefer experience with Viewpoint Construction ManagementPrefer experience with Textura Payment ManagementBenefits:
