Position Reports To:
Project Manager, Operations Manager, Area Manager
Position Summary
The Site Manager is responsible for managing all craftsman, daily execution at the jobsite and ensuring the project is being completed safely, on-time and at high quality. This role manages multi-crafts.
Essential Functions Provide leadership to the jobsite regarding quality, safety, job schedules, productivity, and potential work scope issues that may arise. Develop and coordinate the daily execution plans in partnership with the customer. Work with the supervisors to develop schedules and ensure that crews are scheduled and managed efficiently. Responsible for assisting with the Safety and QA/QC program processes to include monitoring, reporting, and problem solving. Provide coaching and development to supervisors and assist in the development of craftsman. Coordinates with the Business Agents on staffing the project Responsible for ensuring the completion of vendor invoices, payroll sheets, T&M sheets, and purchase orders. Ensure that all field work is outfitted with the required material, equipment, tools, and supplies needed to complete the contract. Work with project management to identify scope of work changes as they occur and communicate this information as directed. Work with various managers in preparing proposals per information garnered from the bid documentation and job walk/bid meeting information. Perform job setup as required and assist with job mobilization. Establish a practice of continuous improvement. Review site KPI's and establish paths for improvement. Other Duties as assigned. Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or another industry-related field preferred. 4+ years of experience within the industrial construction/maintenance business 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience with multi-craft (scaffolding, coatings, and insulation) projects Ability to collaborate cross-functionality to meet customer commitments and goals Strong customer focus- actions and efforts are driven by company and customer needs Great team player; positive and motivating with strong work ethic Ability to evaluate and present KPI's, lead monthly customer feedback/ review meetings, financial and business acumen. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with craftsmen, leadership, customer Proven ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and execute successfully Ability and willingness to support, encourage and incorporate corporate initiatives Work Conditions/Physical Demands
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods. Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. No adverse environmental conditions expected.
