About the role

As a Staff Visual Product Designer at Crunchyroll, you will provide Crunchyroll with a visual refresh and evolve the Crunchyroll app experience across mobile, web, and TV. This will help enhance our experiences and delight our anime fans.

You will work with a team of designers who collaborate with user researchers, product management, and engineers to evolve experiences through iterative improvements and new features. You will also define and bring projects from concept to production, ensuring user goals are represented. You will handle the review process, both within the design department and with partner teams, and provide constructive input to the designs of other designers on your team. Your designs should show an understanding of the industry, our competitors, and especially empathy for our users. You will think through problems and use your design expertise to create solutions that provide our users with an outstanding user experience that is elegant, engaging, and functional.

The Product Design department is a distributed team responsible for creating Crunchyroll's video streaming services. Our work encompasses the new Crunchyroll website, the mobile apps, and the TV experiences. The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll's Total Rewards offerings for employees.
