Job Summary:
As Assistant Manager you will assist and work with the General Manager with overall operations of the FOH. Assist with the HOH of the restaurant as needed, which may include overseeing the staff, monitoring inventory, purchasing equipment and supplies, maintaining the dining room's appearance, and ensuring quality customer service and compliance with all food and beverage regulations. Assist with training, hires, and schedules other employees. Responsible for maintaining the FOH operation compliant to ALL health code Inspections and company standards. Reports to General Manager.
Job Responsibilities :
Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values. Ensure that all areas of the FOH are kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs. Dedicated to providing excellent customer service, improving the customer experience, and ability to address customer complaints and resolve. •Assist staff as needed with the orientation of company and department rules, policies and procedures, and training of new employees. •Assist with scheduling labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met. •Use tracking tools to measure how well staff understands product knowledge, the 5 steps of service, hospitality standards, and cleanliness standards. •Use and update FOH checklists to ensure staff maintains an efficiently run and clean FOH and Responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for dining areas. •Assist with preparations for opening and closing times.
Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn. Exhibiting a familiarity with daily menus. Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment. Performs other duties as required or assigned by General Manager. Helps and supports the Chef if requested or needed. Experience and Skills:
Two to three years of experience working in front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions. Good written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills, Microsoft office, and zoom Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Good judgment and decision-making abilities. Experience in a high-volume environment is required. Ability to supervise and interact with multiple levels of workers. Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb stairs and lift to 50 lbs. daily is required. Standing for long periods of time. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and downstairs, walk, carry multiple objects. Working various shifts including weekends and holidays. Working split shifts and shifts that may exceed 12 hours in duration. Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Hospitality, Culinary, Management, or related field. Serv-Safe Certified

Bonus: AGM and Head Chef - based on 6% of annual salary
