About the Role:As a
QA Coordinator , you'll play a critical role in ensuring our quality assurance programs comply with regulatory standards and internal SOPs. This position is essential in maintaining documentation and programs that uphold MeriCal's commitment to safety and compliance, from managing document control to overseeing product complaint investigations and facilitating employee training in quality protocols.
Essential Job Functions:Document Control : Manage training records, SOPs, calibration logs, audits, and HACCP plans, ensuring accurate control and archiving.Employee Training : Deliver new hire onboarding, annual cGMP training, and quality-related training for all staff.Complaint Management : Lead product complaint investigations, ensure timely closure, and track trends.Change Control : Oversee document and process changes, maintaining compliance across impacted areas.Audits & Inspections : Conduct internal audits and support state, federal, and third-party inspections.Supplier Compliance : Ensure supplier qualification and FSVP compliance under FDA standards.Regulatory & Customer Support : Assist with FDA recalls, regulatory inspections, and customer certifications.Metrics & Reporting : Track and report KPIs for complaints, CAPAs, audits, and training activities.Work Experience Requirements:
3+ years of quality experience in industries regulated by 21 CFR Parts 111, 117, 210/211 (Part 111 experience preferred)Strong project management skills, adept at leading cross-functional teamsExcellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenAbility to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced settingProficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAGE preferred)Education Requirements:
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferredCertifications from ASQ, Train the Trainer, PCQI are advantageousAbout You: You're detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a high-pressure environment where meeting deadlines is crucial.
