i9 Sports® is the nation's first and largest youth sports league franchise in the United States with over 650,000 members spanning more than 700 communities from New York to Hawaii. i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues, camps and clinics for boys and girls ages 3-14 in today's most popular sports such as ag football, soccer, basketball, and baseball. Reinventing the youth sports industry, customers enjoy the i9 Sports Experience which emphasizes fun, safety and convenience as well as teaching the value of good sportsmanship.
Responsibilities may include (but not limited to) the following:
***Candidate must reside in the Salt Lake Metro area***
Assist in managing game day operations, the on-field customer experience and pre-season, local marketing campaign.Educate our customers about our programsAssist in building our membership/registration baseAssist in setting up and breaking down fields and courts on game daysSet up and breakdown booth/canopy at in-person informational eventsInteract with customers and educate them on the i9 Sports ExperienceDistribute fliers to schools, day care facilities and other local businessesSet up/Take down road signsImplement additional guerrilla marketing tasksBuild relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are deliveredObserve, assess, and assist our volunteer coaches. The position entails hands on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skills levelsQualifications :
Sports experience preferred but not requiredResponsible, well organizedMust be at least 18 years old to applyCurrently enrolled in a university or collegeAbility to lift 25 poundsReliable transportation and valid driver's licenseSelf-motivated, hard workerCalm under pressurePositive, dynamic, energetic and friendly attitudeAll applicants are subject to a National Criminal Background checkMust have a cell phone & web/email access
