Description : Building and Land Technology "BLT" is seeking an
Associate
to join our dynamic Asset Management team in Stamford, CT. The primary function of this role is to create and execute the business plans for BLT's portfolio of apartment communities. The Associate will assist in all aspects of the operations, administrative, financial, and capital management of the portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities of Associate :Assist in the preparation and execution of business plans and budgets for each assetPerform financial modeling, analysis, market studies and industry standard reporting (e.g., variance reporting, discounted cash flows, waterfall modeling, IRR's, etc.)Track all KPI's for the portfolio, identify opportunities for improvement, and executePrepare property operating budgets and monthly operating statementsDaily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reporting on the portfolio for internal and external constituentsProvide support to our capital markets efforts for financings, acquisitions, and dispositionsProvide support to our property management and leasing teamsExtensively research relevant markets/trendsRegular inspections of all assetsRequirements for Associate:
4-6 years of residential asset management experienceMust have Multifamily experienceBachelor's Degree required with a concentration in business, finance, accounting and/or real estate preferredExceptional computer literacy to create financial models, documents, and presentations, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPointAbility to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis including ROI, IRR, and discounted cash flow modelingExcellent project management skillsBenefits Provided to the position of
