The IT Administrative Analyst is responsible for conducting special research studies, analyzing data, preparing statistics, making recommendations based on research findings and monitoring and coordinating project / program activities. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the AVP of IT / CIO, directors, managers and appropriate staff in areas of applications, operations, networks, technical services, helpdesk, finance and procurement. They will prepare, manage and audit departmental budgets and special project budgets as needed. The position will prepare, oversee and review college-wide purchases of all IT equipment, software, annual maintenance, support and product license renewals. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency / institution policy.
The IT Administrative Analyst will collaborate with the Finance and Administration departments to meet the goals and needs of these departments and college. This position will prepare, schedule and secure all itineraries and travel arrangements of appropriate staff for events, training and conferences which includes arranging and scheduling committee and staff meetings. They will attend, record and transcribe meeting minutes for various college-wide technical committees and meetings as needed. This individual will receive various and wide-ranging projects and assignments of moderate to high complexity requiring independent decision-making and outstanding judgment, initiative, confidentiality, organizational and communication skills in order to properly prioritize and set realistic deadlines. They will work with end-users, functional experts and technical resources to present solutions, ideas and recommendations to varies departments. The analyst must have good technical and analytical skills and Workday (Enterprise Resource Planning - ERP) experience. This position requires someone with collaboration and open communication skills along with a positive outlook and excellent project management skills.

Essential Duties
Supports and manages all communications and correspondence including telephone, email and written documentation, in addition to compiling and filing meeting records, communications and completed work associated with the office.Collecting and interpreting budget and project information for various activities.Manages the calendar and planning for meetings, schedules and travel itineraries including arranging room reservations, technology support, record keeping and other support as needed.Processes all documents for departments as needed.Provides friendly and front-line functions for all guests, inquiries and meetings in the office.Communicates with all individuals from across campus and multiple locations including state agencies and other external organizations.Acts as a liaison for the IT department to other departments, academic divisions or programs and other agencies or institutions and provides guidance or direction as needed.Creates departmental and project reports utilizing multiple systems.Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.Maintains a status list for all projects along with insuring deadlines are met and expectations exceeded. This includes providing a weekly status project summary to IT leadership.Coordinate user training for systems as needed.Provide IT support and guidance to students, employees and others as needed.Proactively avoids customer problems/conflicts which eliminates intra-departmental conflicts and dilemmas.Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.Rate of Pay $18.55 per hour

Ability to build relationships with individuals and teams across the institution and campus locations.Ability to be diplomatic and tactful.Knowledge of planning, research and analysis techniques and procedures.Knowledge of departmental and operational policies and procedures.Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, procurement and accounting principles.Knowledge of computer system hardware and software.Knowledge of computer user requirements.Knowledge of application systems in information systems.Knowledge on how to create system and end-user reports and document various procedures.Ability to plan and execute systems and organizational analysis and feasibility studies.Ability to conduct research and perform quantitative quality assurance reviews.Ability to research, prepare and present comprehensive written and oral reports.Ability to review results, determine the source of problems/errors and devise corrective actions.Ability to discern necessary support actions/input and to write detailed actions and procedures for non-technical personnel.Ability to understand relevant detail from oral information and explain technical terms and information.Ability to determine costs and resource requirements of projects.Ability to organize and conduct meetings and workshops.Knowledge of state and federal personnel laws, policies and procedures.Must be able to handle highly confidential material efficiently and effectively.Should have strong time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills.Should be able to work effectively with employees and all levels of leadership.
