Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Site Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Neighborhood Healthcare site and programs, ensuring that efficient systems are in place, staff is properly trained, and revenue and cost effectiveness are maximized. The Site Manager implements and evaluates systems within the site that promotes quality of care while monitoring cost effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Collects, organizes, and shares data with appropriate staff for continual quality improvement of operationsMaintains awareness of factors that positively and negatively affect the patient experience, including personnel interactions in the work environmentDirects and motivates stakeholders to take action that consistently deliver high quality patient care and an exceptional patient experienceMonitor site and department expenses to maximize cost effectiveness of operationsAnalyzes financial information prepared by Finance and determine reasons for discrepancies for specific line item costsConducts performance reviews for direct reportsProvides appropriate counseling and disciplinary action (may be in coordination with HR) in a timely manner; prepares documentation and shares with HRImplements organization policies and procedures for the site, including requirements of funding sources and grant programsMonitors site productivity and makes necessary recommendations or changes to increase patient show rate, improve patient flow, maximize provider productivity and monitor redesign implementation and resultsCommunicates with Clinical Team Leader, Operations Director, and Director of Nursing regularly to resolve scheduling or other site specific problems that affect efficient functioning of siteResponsible for scheduling, agenda preparation and facilitation of monthly site operations meetings, including minutes and follow up itemsEnsures site supervisors (if applicable) conduct regular department meetings with site staff and maintain records of agenda, minutes, and attendanceParticipates in monthly operations meetings, to review results of audits and tracks specific programs or issuesParticipates in supervisory, departmental, and special task forces as appropriate; shares pertinent information with subordinates, support staff, providers, and administrationTracks and reconciles all encounters for billing departmentMonitors daily cash receipts and resolves discrepanciesManages all support staff alongside site supervisors (if applicable), including hiring, training, and performance managementEnsures departments provide effective and efficient service to all stakeholders including patients and providersCoordinates with specialty specific coordinators to implement and monitor the effectiveness of specialty services at the specific siteFosters effective communication and teambuilding among staff to enhance employee and patient satisfactionRecommends or makes decision to hire, transfer, promote, reward, suspend, discipline or terminateAssess training needs and promotes developmental activitiesConducts department meetings to promote communication, assess and resolve needs and foster teamworkEvaluates staff performance against job description criteria and competency assessment and provide guidance and coaching to develop employees to perform at their highest potentialKeeps staff informed of organizational activities and promote mission and goalsQualifications
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree or four years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceThree years of supervisory experience required; healthcare setting preferredProject Leap completion preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior composition, typing and proofreading skillsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formKnowledgeable about and experience with various payer sources, such as Medi-cal, Medi-caid, etc., preferredAbility to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent planning and organizational abilityAbility to work as part of a team as well as independentlyAbility to work with highly confidential information in a professional and ethical mannerPhysical Requirements

Salary range: $82,249-$114,838 annually, depending on experience.
