The digital asset manager (DAM) is responsible for managing the organization's digital assets, including design files, copyright and legal lines, licensor logos, and asset libraries.
Duties & Responsibilities Assist in documentation for DAM system management, processes and training Lead planning, evaluation and implementation of metadata and asset management policies, standards, procedures and workflows Coordination and implementation of the metadata standards for digital assets Assist in application of metadata standards to digital projects. Work closely with Creative and Creative Technology teams to develop and manage digital asset collections in various formats (PDF, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Coordinate management of electronic collections, including working files and archiving of files sent to print May participate in the development of digitization projects and/or collaborate on the management and preservation of digital collections Responsible for fulfilling miscellaneous asset requests throughout the organization. Work actively as a subject matter expert on metadata and digital asset management in liaison with other functional units or business teams as assigned Archiving and managing the workflow of print files as they are delivered by the Creative Technology team Qualifications
2-3 years of experience DAM and Project management software experience. Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience preferred Experience working through initial DAM software implementation stages Extremely detail-oriented and deadline focused Strong verbal & written communication/documentation skills Ability to analyze current processes and assist in implementing changes with the DAM to more effectively accommodate departmental needs Minimum of 2+ years experience working with and coordinating effective use of metadata in a digital asset management environment Experience applying current metadata standards to digital files for access and dissemination via the web Working experience and knowledge of metadata schemes and best practices Experience working with Creative teams Working experience of taxonomy and knowledge organization Experience working in a large creative organization Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workflows
