Position Summary:

The

Housekeeping Associate , under general supervision, performs cleaning functions as assigned to provide a clean, germ-free environment for patients, visitors and staff.Performs cleaning tasks in assigned areas, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness by utilizing the Seven Step Cleaning procedure on a daily basis. The Seven Step Cleaning Procedure is as follows: empty trash, high dust, damp wipe horizontal surfaces using germicidal cleaner, clean bathroom, dust mop, wet mop, inspect room for cleanliness.Has access to clean supply areas including, but not limited to IV solutions, needles, and syringes for the purpose of obtaining and restocking linen and/or supplies.The job duties are to assist indirectly in providing patient care by insuring a safe, healthful, and pleasant environment.Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information.Shift:

Full-time, Evening shift (40 hrs per week)

2:30pm - 11:00pm

Every other weekend required

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is required6 months relevant experience, in a hospital setting, preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 18.00 per hour - Maximum 30.18 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
