About the Position
Glatfelter Insurance Group is seeking a seasoned Senior System Administrator with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for configuring, securing, and managing our cloud environments, primarily with Microsoft Cloud services (Office 365, Azure) and AWS.
Key Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and monitor cloud environments (Microsoft Cloud services, AWS) to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Manage security controls in the cloud infrastructure. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability. Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities, troubleshoot issues, and implement patches and updates. Maintain a backup and recovery solutions for cloud services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-based projects and integrate cloud services with on-premises infrastructure. Maintain documentation for cloud configurations, security policies, and system architecture. Stay current with the latest cloud technologies, best practices, and security protocols. What We're Looking For
In-depth experience with Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Azure. Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC. Knowledge of cloud security best practices, encryption techniques, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, AWS CLI) is preferred.
