Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate will work with patients of all ages to help them develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. The role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and improving patients' quality of life.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, and administers treatments and physical agents in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.Ensures patient charges are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.Coordinate, delegate and supervise responsibilities assigned to support staff (COTA, OT /PT Aide, etc.) Participates in operational aspects of the department, contributing to performance improvement and CQI activities.Qualification/Experience:
Master's, Bachelor's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy .A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is required.New graduates are also welcome to apply.Preferred Experience:
Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.Experience with specific populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or rehabilitation.
