Our experienced radiation oncology experts work as part of larger multi-disciplinary teams to treat a variety of cancers. These include physicians, medical physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and therapists, creates an individualized radiation therapy plan tailored for a patient's specific needs.
With high-end technology and a commitment to solid, evidence-based practice, our researchers continue to pioneer new findings in molecular radiation sciences, findings that lead to new treatments, higher levels of safety, and ever increasing hope for patients and their families.
Suburban Hospital is searching for a PRN Radiation Therapist to join our elite and patient focused team. Our Radiation Oncology department is located offsite in Bethesda. As a Radiation Therapist you will prepare and apply ionizing radiation to patients. This treatment may include operating:
CT simulatorLinear acceleratorQA dosimetersDiode systemAt this site, we do not treat pediatric patients and no Total Body Irradiation (TBI).
