Basic Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport safety, health and security at ITC.Responsible for Facility Security Plan (FSP) maintenance and administration.Responsible for Certificate of Insurance (COI) compliance.Ensure and assist all ITC facilities with security compliance to Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Department of Transportation, and other applicable federal, state and local regulations and standards.Maintain and conduct facility security audits & assessments at ITC's facilities.Develop and establish security policies and procedures.Assist with security and emergency response training program.Perform and oversee security systems maintenance and administration.Supports the investigations of security incidents to include but not limited to access control and surveillance systems reviews.Monitor applicable federal and state regulatory changes and ensure they are communicated to the affected department.Maintain professional certifications by attending various training, seminars and classes.Interface and correspond with regulatory agencies.Assist with implementing and enforcing safety, health, and security policies and procedures.Participate in various internal/external meetings and committees as appropriate.Designated Facility Security Officer.Support safety, health, and security compliance programs.Perform and support Incident Command System.Develop and manage grant program.Other duties as assigned by direct supervision.Skills And Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university; or equivalent experience.Minimum of five years related experience and extensive knowledge and proficiency with security systems.Good verbal and written communications skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities, detail oriented, highly organized and able to multi-task.Facility Security Officer Certification with a general knowledge, through training or equivalent job experience, in the following:Security organization of the facility;General vessel and facility operations and conditions;Vessel and facility security measures, including the meaning and the requirements of the different MARSEC Levels;Emergency preparedness, response, and contingency planning;Security equipment and systems (i.e. Genetec System), and their operations limitations; andMethods of conducting audits, inspections, control, and monitoring techniques.
