POSITION SUMMARY:
Will communicate with Production Coordinators, Client Relationship Managers, and Business Development staff regarding job specs, costs, and production methods. This person will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely purchase orders processing, monitoring inventory levels, and reordering supplies to maintain proper levels. Purchases materials required to complete incoming jobs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Creates and processes Purchase Orders from proposals and/or requisitions.Tracks and expedites Purchase Orders on a daily basis.Submits paperwork associated with all open and closed Purchase Orders.Establishes and maintains a strong working relationship with Vendors, Customer Service Representatives along with the Shipping and Receiving Staff through effective communication and professional attitude.Reconcile customer material billing.Maintain daily inventory reconciliations.Review invoice to purchase order price variances.Track and report material backorders from vendors.Confirm inventory levels vs PO and BOL.Perform internal inventory audits.Assist Accounting with any invoice corrections.Maintain and upkeep of files within the department.Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.Ensure all products arrive in good condition.OTHER FUNCTIONS
This position requires a thorough knowledge of the print and finishing industries, including familiarity with vendors and suppliers. This position also performs other projects for the company as needed.

While performing the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Secondarily, the employee is required to stand, carry, walk and sit. This job requires the ability to distinguish color, weight to be lifted and force to be exerted. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Skills/Knowledge:Telephone SkillsTyping and word processing skillsNegotiation skillsGood verbal communication skillsProfessional attitude when dealing with outside vendorsNegotiation, analytical and, decision making skills.Strong verbal communication skills.Strong math and computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.Environment and Scheduling
Work is performed in an administrative office setting.Must be flexible and available to work additional hours when necessary.
