Behavioral Health Clinical Operations Director

will be instrumental in leading our team, ensuring the highest standards of care, and advancing innovative initiatives to enhance our services.

Position Overview

We seek an experienced and dynamic Behavioral Health Clinical Operations Director to lead and oversee our behavioral health services' operational, clinical, and administrative functions. This leader will ensure the highest standards of patient care, compliance, and operational efficiency, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, safety, and collaboration within the behavioral health teams. The role includes overseeing inpatient, outpatient, ECT/TMS, BERT team, and emergency behavioral health services.

Scope -

Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit, Behavioral Health Emergency Department, Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)/Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Department, Behavioral Health Outpatient Department, and Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT Team).

Requirements:

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Master's degree in Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing or a Master's in Science of Nursing with significant mental health experience from an accredited school of nursing.Minimum of 4 years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.Strong knowledge of behavioral health regulations, clinical practices, and care delivery models.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work Monday-Friday with the flexibility to cover nights and weekends as needed.Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing or Healthcare Leadership.Experience with behavioral health program development and quality improvement initiatives.Familiarity with hospital operations and behavioral health service line expansions.
