Key Responsibilities:Primary Care: Direct nursing care for residents on the Ventilator Unit, following a well-defined care plan.Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the care of CNAs and Ward Clerks on the unit.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of resident care on care plans, MAR (Medication Administration Record), and TAR (Treatment Administration Record).Specialized Care: Provide nursing services requiring specialized judgment for ventilator-dependent residents.Collaboration: Work closely with the RN (UM/Nursing Supervisor) and physicians to ensure proper care and treatment.Independent Judgment: Make independent decisions as needed, while keeping the RN Supervisor updated throughout the shift.Qualifications:Licensing: Current New York State RN License.Experience: At least 2 years of recent experience in a nursing role.Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.Specialized Skills: Experience in ventilator care is highly desirable.About Nationwide Therapy Group
