Nurse Manager
to lead the
Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
team at a premier healthcare facility near the scenic town of

Key Responsibilities:Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily operations of the Med-Surg unit, ensuring that the highest standards of patient care, safety, and quality are consistently met.Leadership & Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of nurses, cultivating a culture of collaboration, support, and professional growth within the Med-Surg unit.Policy Development & Compliance:
Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.Quality Improvement:
Monitor patient outcomes and quality metrics, driving initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.Collaborative Care:
Work closely with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care and ensure seamless communication across departments.Staff Management:
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and performance evaluations, ensuring that the Med-Surg team is motivated, well-supported, and high-performing.Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure that patient care documentation is accurate, timely, and aligned with hospital protocols, state, and federal regulations.Qualifications:
Licensure:
Active RN license in New Mexico is required.Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is a plus.Experience:
At least 2-3 years of nursing experience in a
Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
or similar clinical setting is required.Certifications:
Current ACLS and CPR certifications are required; additional leadership certifications are a plus.Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A commitment to patient-centered care and team development is essential.Benefits:
