Riverside Recovery of Tampa, a premier and leading provider of treatment programs for adults struggling with chemical dependency, substance use and abuse disorders, is seeking an experienced APRN-FNP or PA on the weekends.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement medical protocols for patients as appropriateDirectly report to the Medical DirectorManage the medication needs for all program participantsBe available on call for medical emergencies relating to program participantsParticipate in marketing and outreach effortsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL
Skill and experience with medical detoxificationClinical experience in crisis interventionExperience working with adults with addictive disorders and dual diagnosesSkilled in supervising, evaluating, and training nursing staffKnowledge of specialized markets, including veterans, impaired professionals and dually-diagnosed clientsKnowledge of DCF requirements relating to medical careKnowledge of HIPAA privacy requirementsKnowledge of The Joint Commission standards and credentialing relating to medical careREQUIREMENTS
Valid and active Florida Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner's license or PA LicenseState controlled substance registration and Federal DEA certificate (and provide documentation of renewal of each on or before expiration date)ANCC/AANP CertificationExperience working in Substance Use Disorder industryASAM/ABAM certification preferredMust be able to pass criminal history background checkMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
