We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our team in our Providence, Boston, Waltham or Newport offices.
The PCS Tax Manager is responsible for providing tax and consulting services to our high net worth clients as well as managing, developing and growing the local Private Client Services practice.
Job Responsibilities
Technical planning and advising of clients that include private entities (including C-Corp, S-Corp, Trusts, and Partnerships) as well as high-profile individuals/families.Trusted advisor and role model for your clients and our people across multiple teams, making this a great place to develop a diverse network of collaborative colleagues.Ensure timely filing of all client-related tax returns and documents.Respond to federal and state tax notices that impact clients, and represent clients in any potential tax audit.Personally coach and develop a highly trained team, all while handling activities with a focus on quality and commercial value.Manage multiple Estate, Gift and Fiduciary client tax engagements simultaneously.Review complex estate (Form 706), gift (Form 709), and fiduciary (Form 1041) income tax returns, including related tax schedules, forms and fiduciary accounting documents.Building effective long-term relationships with our clients, understanding their unique needs to provide a tailored service.Communicating complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients.Other Duties:

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Tax6+ years of technical tax experience in public accountingStrong experience with individual taxation (high net worth)CPA certification is requiredResearching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)Familiarity and willingness to perform all types of tax work from entity to individualAbility to manage multiple high-level work simultaneouslyAbility to translate complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverablesDeveloped public accounting management experienceTrusted advisor and role model for your clients and our people across multiple teams, making this a great place to develop a diverse network of collaborative colleagues.
We are looking for a candidate to work full time. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with increased hours during our peak season: January through April and August through October. These periods require increasing normal weekly hours, which include weekends.
