Organization & Position Summary:
The Arc Minnesota promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), actively supporting them and their families in a lifetime of full inclusion and participation in their communities.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the
Executive Assistant
performs a wide variety of administrative work. They will interact with the board of directors, committee volunteers, donors, community contacts, and agency and thrift store staff. This position will:
Schedule meetings and, take, transcribe and distribute meeting minutes for Executive and Leadership Team meetings and other meetings as requestedSupport CEO in correspondence to donors and track contacts in databaseAvailable to review, respond, and prioritize emails and phone calls for executive team members as requestedDraft updates, track changes and hold final copies of the Articles of Incorporation, organizational By-Laws, & Board Policies & Procedures, Board rosters, committee charters, terms of service, strategic plan and any internal documents that require Board approval or signatures or as requestedMaintain and update Board of Directors and Board Committee calendarsSchedule regular Board and committee meetingsCompensation & Benefits:

Must reside in MinnesotaHigh School Diploma or GED certificate required5+ years of experience in Executive Assistant workExcellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skillsAbility to handle confidential information in a professional mannerAbility to use interpersonal skills, listening, diplomacy and tact with Arc Staff, Board Members, Donors, Volunteers and GuestsProficient with Computer Software: i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, SharePointHighly resourceful team player; high level of self-initiative and willingness to provide support wherever needed, possesses the ability to be extremely effective independentlyExperience with project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
