Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Education, IT, Informatics or Business (or related field)
2 of the most recent 4 years' experience in a clinical/medical IT/ medical education environment
Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Must have completed all EPIC courses and be certification eligible
EPIC certification required within 90 days of placement into position
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a clinical area, IT, business (or related field)
Desired Licensure/Certification/Registration:
EPIC Credentialed trainer certification
RN or Technologist
Responsibilities
Works with the IT management, IT Educational Designer, and EPIC application coordinators to develop and deploy LIFECareU training to the appropriate end users (physicians/mid-levels/staff) including but not limited to new hires and existing employees. Provides classroom training to end users of assigned IT applications using the curriculum, lessons and training materials for the various applications. Responsible for the classroom logistics including set-up, materials, supplies and equipment. Acts as a liaison between the Help Desk, IT Department and its customers. Participates in "go-live" support activities.
