Physical Therapy Assistant , (PTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in
Mt. Vernon, NY . Once hired as a PTS employee, you may join as many of our PRN rosters our other locations in the area if you would like.
Conveniently located in Mount Vernon, New York, on 34 beautiful acres,our campus features the full spectrum of senior living: with amenities to assisted living, memory care, subacute rehabilitation, and adult day services. Our freestanding Rehabilitation Center offers short stay accelerated rehabilitation care with two large, light-filled state-of-the-art rehab gyms, including a "Next Step Home" real-life training apartment and even a department SmartCar allows you to learn how to properly get in/out of the car when you're ready to go home.

Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility settingWork collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environmentPossess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employedDemonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentationDemonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentationWork well with others in a team setting.
