We are seeking for a Full-Time
Export Control/Access Analyst
for our Logistics Contract who is highly organized, able to work at a fast pace, and has excellent customer service and people skills. This position is onsite.
Hybrid schedule option may be available following the probationary period.
The Export Control/Access Analyst shall provide expertise and facilitate export compliance activities by performing the following tasks:
Monitors processes for assuring trade compliance for foreign national access to technologyand/or facilities (foreign visits).Advanced knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes involved in export control administration pertaining to Foreign National Access Control.Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.Assist in the interpretation of export policies and processes.Provide support in the classification of hardware, software, Technology, information, and data for export.Support meetings with Center Directorates and Program Offices Export Control Teams concerning export control issues and provide recommendations regarding the issues and interpretation of the regulations.Receive and process data from NASA programs, projects, and activities that is required for export license applications and coordinate the use of exemptions and exceptions.Provides analysis of exports to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations.Provide excellent customer relation skills.Perform all work in a safe manner in accordance with all company safety/health policies.Compliance with PPE use requirements.At all times, comply with all federal, state, and JSC traffic and safety regulations and procedures.At all times perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in progressively challenging positions.Certified United States Export Compliance Officer (CUSECO) certification preferred.Competency in Microsoft Office business suite software: word, excel, outlook, and ability to learn new business applications, and use of database management systems.
