We are seeking someone with experience in project management and process improvement to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this role you will be responsible for creating capacity for our current supply chain leadership team, providing a consistent focus on the numerous projects in the pipeline, improving our service and experience in vertical businesses, building and retaining a culture of formalized continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, marketing, human resources and business development, to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth. ProjectsOversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term supply chain projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in scope.Analyze and partner with operations leadership to redesign supply chain processes to achieve better efficiency, higher quality, and lower costs.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, customer service, and finance, to ensure project alignment with overall business objectives.Implement risk management strategies to identify potential project risks, assess their impact, and develop mitigation plans.Foster scalable and sustainable practices within supply chain operations,Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, and progressUtilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project executionContinuous Improvement
Champion Lean and Kaizen principles to facilitate changeStarting CI initiatives and Standard Operating ProceduresDefining program, participants, and targeted state for changeLeading kaizen events and workshopsSupport on the transformation process from learning to doingSupport the transformation process of organizational cultureChallenge status quo with fundamental questions on existing proceduresWork closely with the heads of departments to anchor the new improvement cultureWhat you'll needAbility to work from our Draper and Salt Lake locations 3-5 days per week and travel to our Texas and North Carolina distribution centers 4-8 times per yearGreen Belt certification with real-world application is preferredCMP or CAPM certification is a plusProven experience (at least 3 years) as a Project Manager or in Continuous ImprovementManager, preferably working in distribution or manufacturingStrong understanding of catalog management, product management, payment systems, and order systemsExperience with Supply Chain methodologies and working in cross-functional teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detailAbility to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with stakeholders at various levels of the organizationExperience with data analysis, KPI tracking, and using data to drive decision-makingPerksFree eye exams for your entire familyDeep discounts on lenses, glasses, and other servicesAmazing healthcare coverage401(k) matchFlexible PTOTuition reimbursement programIn-house restaurant with highly discounted meals (Steak dinner under $6)Free snacks, ice cream, and drinks every dayFull onsite gym
